IAB TCF Purpose

Purposes for the processing of personal data by parties according to the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework is where vendors state the legal basis in the GVL and user consent or object (opt-in or opt-out) to such processing, e.g. measure of ad performance.

A special purpose is when vendors state the legal basis in the GVL and user cannot consent or object (opt-in or opt-out) to such processing, e.g. data processing due to security reasons or when it is a technical necessity.
